Elastic Cohesive Bandage

 

A porous adgesive, elastic tape that allows the slin to breathe, stretches around uneven surfaces.

Hopeck Cast Operation is composed by manifold layers of special made glass fiber which was soaked by polyurethane. Polyurethane material is one kind of block copolymer which contains soft segment; it is characterized by better viscosity, fast drying time, high rigidness and light weight. Due to better biocompatibility, polyurethane is widely used in medical places. Animal study and acute and chronic toxicity test have proved that medical polyurethane was non-toxic and no-induced distortion, no local irritation and no allergic reaction. 
Product features 
High rigidness, Light weight as polyurethane material is made up by soft segment and stiff segment which will increase the cohesion and rigidness, moreover, the consumption of cast operation will be 1/3 of plaster cast at the same fixed position.
Porous and good permeability;
cast operation is made with high quality raw yarn and unique mesh weaving technique, which can make sure it has better permeability and good for skin permeability. On the other hand, local skin hot and itch problem caused by tube dress have been solved because of this feature.
Fast hardening
Hardening process of cast operation is very fast and it only takes 3 to 5 min to start hardening and can bear weight after 20 min in contrast with 24 hours hardening for plaster cast.
Excellent X-ray radiolucency
as cast operation is very excellent on the permeability of radiation, the effect of X-ray is very clear to be seen so it is helpful to the doctors to learn the healing of limb during the medical treatment.
Good waterproof
when the cast is hardened, its surface is very smooth and the water absorptive is 85% lower than plaster cast and common glass fiber made cast and splint. Even if limb is touched with water, it can make sure the affected area is dry, no worry to be soaked in water for the second time and it is acceptable to take a bath and do hydrotherapy when wore with the cast operation.
Convenient and flexible to be operated, good plasticity;
cast operation can be used when it is squeezed 2-3 times in normal temperature water. If there are any skin traumas or operation time taken too long on fixing place, it is not necessary to dip in the water first, just fix it. When it was fixed, water can be sprayed onto the external layers so as to step up harden speed. It has good plasticity and high bending and tensile strength, so it can be bent arbitrarily and made into tube shape or support.
Comfort and safety
it is convenient for doctors to make local plastic wrap as the soft segment has better flexibility. B; As cast operation is with small contraction, it will not bring skin tight and skin itch symptom to the patients caused by plaster cast when it became dry.
